HAB Culture Day took place yesterday, with students dressing in the styles and fashions that represent their culture, or a culture they appreciate. Celebrating our differences, as well as our common interests, helps unite and educate us.

Assessment Calendar

When will students complete assessments?

Year 7 –9

Years 7-9 will complete a Progress Check-In assessment half termly (6 per year) for Ebacc subjects and termly (3 per year) for all others.

Year 10

Progress Check-In assessments as above until mock period

Year 10 mock exams: 20th June - 1st July

Year 11

Year 11 Mock 1:  8th November - 19th November

Year 11 Mock 2: 28th February - 11th March

GCSE exams May/June 2022

Year 12

Year 12 Induction Exams (4 weeks at start of term)

Year 12 Mock 1: 31st January - 11 February

Year 12 Mock 2: 20th June - 1st July

Year 13

Year 13 Mock 1: 15th November - 26th November

Year 13 Mock 2: 7th March - 18th March

A Level exams May/June 2022

What will be reported to parents/carers?

Year 11, 12 and 13

Reports will contain students' percentages in each exam and their MLG (most likely grade). These will be sent out after the mock exam period for each year group.

Year 10

A report will be sent home with Progress Check-In data in February which will contain a score for Progress and Effort in each subject. Mock exam percentages and MLG (most likely grades) will be reported after the June exam period.

Year 7-9

Parents will receive a report in February and July which will include a score for Progress and Effort in each subject. The table below explains what the scores mean.



1 = Above expected progress

2 = Expected progress

3 = Progress requires improvement

4 = Progress is a cause for concern

1 = Outstanding effort

2 = Good effort

3 = Requires improvement

4 = cause for concern
